I had a pretty good time drawing these. I didn't really feel like drawing anything at first, hence the third image being out of proportion, but as I got more into it I started getting better again. The angel was made using ink and a toothbrush over a graphite sketch.It was interesting to see how the medium separated into different colours over time after being mixed with water. It maybe something I work with more in the future, but I also really don't like using a toothbrush as a painting tool, so maybe something different?
Also it is important to heed your own intuition when in life drawing; when something looks out of proportion or off at the outset, then rely on your artistic license to fix it. The model is definitely there for reference rather than to trace over, so make the most of inspirations.
