Adobe Illustrator Insect Cheerleader

Result from today's lesson in Adobe Illustrator, this is my depiction of a monstrous cheerleader according to the lesson's brief. I will probably attempt to add some gradients to the pom poms in the future just to see the differences I could potentially make to the composition of this type of drawing. Regarding the techniques utilised to create this picture, I wasn't entirely under the wing of the interface, so it probably hindered my ability a bit, but not too much since I was working from a hand drawn sketch anyway. I want to experiment with the screen shape technique a bit too, because it made everything look really unnecessarily shiny, which is something I could have avoided.

 In all I am happy to have made this image, it has broadened my vision of CAD related design and it's uses, although I would probably use it to make simpler things just because it is a pain to use.
