More Concepts for Characters || Script to Screen 2017

I have developed my characters further to illustrate how I would like them in my story. In this post I will explain how I did this. This is probably going to be the last load of developments to these guys because I really need to look at the environment and cement mixer before Wednesday next week.
I wanted to have a woman lead in this story, and so I had made a couple of characters to reflect this need. However, feedback confirmed the character to be too androgynous for this purpose. To sort this I gave my main character a hat and thicker eyeliner. I do worry that the design looks a little too much like Skull Kid from Majora's Mask, but I don't think this would be a massive problem in the future. Rather than being detriment to the story, I wanted a feminine lead more for myself. I am too used to working with male characters, and I want to see how far this can take me in terms of development.
In order to make a Hiker, I needed to recognise the qualities that made them as a person. To start, they will need their equipment, this will confirm their preoccupation to a viewer. Second, their personality needs to conform to their hobby to an extent. I imagine Hikers or mountaineers to have a very happy go lucky, carefree personality, since they are only doing it for fun in most cases. More serious climbers can retain this trait, but are less loose when it comes to technique, and a lot more professional. My main character resembles a goat, so perhaps it is in her nature to climb mountains professionally.

The environment has to be mountainous to suit my hiker characters. Initially I was thinking of the mountains above ground, and how they form challenging slopes and surfaces. A sort of anti mountain idea was good, but everything could be upside down, and near inaccessible. So I thought of this; a glacial hell, like the one from Silent Hill: Shattered Memories, causes condensation in the summer months that affects the roof of the cave like structure creating gigantic stalactites and stalagmites to form. These, complete with fiery pools and giant geysers, create an endlessly morphing, dramatic environment for my characters to roam around on.
