Today I further explored the buildings of the industry and business sector, namely the newspaper building. I like this design and style matched together, since unlike the heavier atmosphere of some of my thumbnails, this has more of a comic book or poster like aesthetic to it, which is perfect to my ends. To top it off, it has the potential to also fill in some of the nothing areas in between the buildings, which could result in the roads being strewn with random piles of paper, but that's an idea for another day.
Tomorrow, I will be labeling all these random landscapes as thumbnails since they expand on my current ideas, which will bring my thumbnail count to about 85-90. I will als be uploading my first orthographic drawings for some of these pictures, so look out for them too.
This is a nice idea, Anabel :) Just remember to look also at architectural references so you can sort of approach this structure with some additional real world knowledge: for example:
